LÄPPLE Group divested its FIBRO Round Tables Division. Dr. Heiko Asum acquired the division through a management buyout, establishing FIBRO Round Tables GmbH on January 1, 2024.

LÄPPLE Group sold its rotary tables division, formerly known as FIBRO Rotary Tables, due to recent losses.

LÄPPLE Group chose the management buyout (MBO) to ensure competitiveness and preserve jobs for the division’s future.

Dr. Heiko Asum became the new owner and managing director of FIBRO Round Tables GmbH on January 1, 2024.

Works councils and IG Metall engaged in early discussions, ultimately supporting the MBO as the best solution for the division.

The MBO maintained job security for employees, with many transferred or offered positions in other departments.

The MBO reflected LÄPPLE Group’s confidence, transferring the name and brand license to the new company based in Weinsberg.

FIBRO GmbH, the Standard Parts Division, remained under LÄPPLE Group and continued operating from Haßmersheim unchanged.
