FIBRO India proudly announces a significant milestone—the achievement of the prestigious ZED (Zero Defect, Zero Effect) Gold Certification. This accomplishment reflects our ongoing commitment to operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.

A Journey of Growth: From Bronze to Gold

Our ZED journey began with the Bronze Certification, a foundational step toward aligning with India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. This early recognition validated our core systems and inspired us to move forward.

In April 2024, we earned the ZED Silver Certification. It acknowledged our efforts to refine operations, reduce variability, and adopt lean manufacturing. However, Silver was never our final goal. The very day we received it, we committed ourselves to achieving Gold.

The Gold Certification wasn’t just a symbolic target. It embodied our belief in raising standards, building a culture of excellence, and embedding sustainability at every level of our operations.

Setting an Ambitious Goal

Driven by a shared vision, our team set a bold objective—to reach the Gold level by the end of FY 2024–25. This goal reflected more than an intent to earn recognition. It represented our dedication to building resilient processes, improving environmental outcomes, and advancing Zero Defect–Zero Effect principles.

Overcoming Challenges with Determination

The road to Gold was not without its challenges. We encountered four major clauses that had to be built from the ground up:

• Energy Management

• Environment Management

• Waste Management (MUDA, MURA, MURI)

• Natural Resources Management

In each of these areas, we lacked pre-existing documentation or frameworks. Therefore, we partnered with third-party experts for guidance and training.

These learning sessions not only expanded our technical knowledge but also encouraged critical thinking and teamwork. As a result, we built a strong foundation for transformation.

Milestones Reached, Lessons Learned

Thanks to a structured, collaborative approach, we achieved audit readiness on schedule. The audit revealed very few observations. Moreover, we resolved all issues within just 15 days—demonstrating our commitment to the first-time-right mindset.
